Working with illustrator was fairly simple, once you get the technique, it's simple and fun. However, shading and drawing small details with the brush tool was difficult and a very tedious task. The nose was especially difficult for me. I'm not super confident in my portrait skills on paper and so I thought that doing it digitally was going to be much much worse. However, I found that as I went along and played with it more it became very fun and easier than working on paper or canvas. Overall I'm very proud of the result, especially for never having worked with a program like Adobe Illustrator. The end result does look like me, although not a perfect rendering. I think that I will definitely return to work with this program and practice illustrating digitally.
